Busy Thursday

Yesterday was by far the busiest day I've had in forever. I took Abby and Anna to our Gymnastics Unlimited playgroup - Abby loved having Anna there. Then we had lunch @ my favorite spot, Country's. THEN - we went to Dr Thorne's office to have the 20 wk ultrasound...but more about that in a minute. We had planned on FINALLY taking Abby to see Kung Fu Panda - but by the time we left the Dr's office it was close to 4pm and WAY past her nap time (she had several melt-downs in the office). So, we headed back home and she and I took a nap. At about 6:30, Chris was done with work stuff and I still really wanted to go to the movies. Stinker that he is, he asked me if I would rather watch this other movie that he had just gotten but I really wanted to see KFP. Well, after getting there @ 7:45 and watching 30 MINUTES - yes, that's right - 30 min of previews where abby kept saying "where PO??? where PO???"....she had had it about 1/2 way through the movie. So, we finally left w/20 minutes left of the movie.

Anyways, people probably don't care all about that. They just want to know how the US went. It went really well. The us tech they normally have is not nice at all - but for some reason they had this new lady who was so sweet - she talked to us the whole time and answered questions and told us what everything was. It was sweet because you could even see the baby swallowing amniotic fluid. They let my mom, dad and abby come in at the end....abby even knew it was a baby on the monitor which surprised me. When Chris went out to get everybody I snuck a peak to see what the baby was and I could tell....it's a GIRL!!! So, when everyone came back in, the tech started referring to the baby as a girl - it sort of ruined it I think for everyone - sorry!! But anyway, that's the deal...here are the picts.
